Colt Ford is a good ol' country boy that knows how to get down. This was the first I had ever seen Colt and what I instantly noticed was how he put his heart into what he was doing and how without realizing it, I was bopping to his beat. Man, he rocked the hell out of that stage. I was hooked and now I'm a Colt Ford Fan! I love his love of country as evidence the flag he carries.
I also noticed how talented all the members of his band are but I thought his fiddle/ guitar player/ part time singer was fantastic! They offer a good live sound. Totally enjoyable.
Colt Ford created a style that suits him and his fans love it. He was received with open arms by the music hungry folks in the audience. His crowd pleasing songs just kept coming! The setlist included; Answer to No One,
The High Life,
Crank It Up,
Back,
Cricket on a Line,
Drivin' Around Song,
Chicken and Biscuits,
(Dedicated to All the Ladies)
Ride Through The Country,
Lose Yourself
(Eminem cover) and Of course the show wouldn’t be complete without the chart-topping single “Dirt Road Anthem,” which he co-wrote with Brantley Gilbert in 2011.
His latest CD "Thanks For Listening" is definitely an album to hold onto.
I highly Recommend it and I definitley recommend going to a Colt Ford concert to all the rednecks and good ol' southern rock, hick-hop fans everywhere!
