With a little bit of story telling, some laughs and some kick-ass music Chris Daughtry, fronting the band that bears his name, rocked the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs. The fact that it was a simple theater did not stop him from rocking the building. The show started with a new song, “Just Found Heaven,” which absolutely blew the audience away... myself included! He also performed two other tracks off the new album called "BackBone" and "Back In Time". The album scheduled to be released this summer will be a must have for all music lovers.
Daughtry's performance tonight was flawless. Not only was he vocally amazing as he hit all the notes, he also has a trememdous amount of personality and played every song to the crowd. Clearly intent on making a connection, he continually
roamed the compact stage to sing, interact (and Hi-Five) to different parts of the audience.

(Prince cover)....His outstanding performance of “Purple Rain,” had the entire audience on their feet. It was so amazing I have no doubt it would’ve made even the late Prince proud.
The bottom line is this: Daughtry's live show is one not to be missed. Together with his band they rocked the place. It was a high energy show that had the audience on their feet and put a smile on everyones face. The entire band looked great, sounded great and together created a great show. One NOT TO BE MISSED!
If you get the chance to see Daughtry live....DO IT!
