George Thorogood and the Destroyers
Still Bad To The Bone!
George Thorogood and the Destroyers were definitely in fine form musically as they hit the stage at the Colorado State Fair.
George delighted the crowd with his spins, knee drops, tongue wagging and along with some kick-ass guitar playing put on a fantastic show. . With a good mood and an ear
to ear grin
he had the crowd on their feet for the entire show.
With an obvious sincere desire to reach out to his fan base, George shows an incredible display
of showmanship and talent. His storytelling was fun, especially the claim of getting arrested in Pueblo. That had the crowd roaring. He is a one of a kind artist
and you can't help but be drawn to
his energy, his talent and his charming wit.
The Destroyers have been making music for 45 years and they still rock out to this day! Together they performed a tight, well-paced show that kept the audience
fully engaged and entertained.
Currently the band consist of Jeff Simon (drums, percussion),
Bill Blough (bass guitar), Jim Suhler (rhythm guitar),
Buddy Leach (saxophone) and of course George Thorogood.
