Keith Urban literally rocks out with thousands of fans.
Cheyenne Frontier Days ended with a bang as Keith Urban brings the party front and center.
His "Raise 'Em Up" Tour was filled with fun and lots of surprises. He held a contest to find someone to help him sing "We Were Us" his duet with Miranda Lambert and pulled some fans out of the crowd to help him sing "Raise 'Em Up" his duet with Eric Church. If that wasn't enough to excite, while in the audience he signed his guitar and gave it to a lucky fan. All in all it was quite the show!
Urban hit the stage with energy and left the crowd in a sea of screams and cheers. Coming out strong with "Long Hot Summer" he just continued
blasting the eager crowd with
"Where The Blacktop Ends",
"Somewhere In My Car",
"Raining On Sunday",
"You're My Better Half",
"I Told You So",
"Sweet Thing",
"John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16". Every song was super charged by his insane guitar skills! He is so alive on the stage. He never gave less than a hundred percent the entire performance. It was as if he were doing each song just for YOU.
Playing "unplugged" and solo brought out the tenderness in his voice with hits like
"Without You",
"'Til Summer Comes Around",
"Making Memories of Us" AND
"You'll Think of Me". It was a great atmosphere. When the full band returns we get
"Raise 'Em Up"
(with Special Guests from the crowd),
"You Gonna Fly",
"Once In A Lifetime",
"You Look Good In My Shirt",
"Better Life", and
"Everybody". The high energy never let up! Keith Urban is the real deal.
It was a privilege to witness Urban and his band rock Frontier Nights in such a natural no gimmicks way. He is loaded with talent, charisma, and confidence and it is obvious he clearly loves what he does. The proof is in the encore that didn't quit...
"Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me",
"It's A Love Thing".
"Put You In A Song"
"Cop Car",
"Kiss A Girl", and a hauntingly beautiful Piano Solo
of "Tonight I Wanna Cry" and topped it off with the full band again doing
"Love Somebody Like You" and
"Days Go By"!
Oh What A Show!
Bottom Line - There's a lot of music in Keith Urban.
Quite simply, Keith delivered the best performances of the most hit-packed setlist you could hear. The power of the music comes down to his voice and its absolutely beautiful. You never get tired of listening to it. The "Raise 'Em Up Tour" was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Definitely one not to miss.
