Texican Rock'n Roll band Los Lonely Boys rocked the house at the Colorado State Fair. The Brothers Garza - Henry, Jojo and Ringo came out and played a high energy set that showcased their exceptional musical abilities.
Henry - Ringo - Jojo
It's stunning to say the least, the sound three brothers can produce with just one guitar, one bass and one drum kit. Henry is without a doubt one of the best guitar players out there. When he plays the electric guitar he closes his eyes and gets lost in a zone and the results are amazing. You can really feel his passion. His talent is right up there with such greats as Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton. Jojo jams on the bass
and has a really great rapore with the audience and Ringo, WOW... I've never seen a drummer play the drums with a drumstick in his right hand, the second stick in his mouth while playing the bongos with his left hand. He can certainly keep a beat!
Together these boys kept their set tight and flawless and they had the audience all fired up!
These guys from San Angelo,Texas played a fantastic mix of songs from soulful, easy going tunes to what they call Texican rock 'n roll, which combines elements of rock and roll, Texas blues, some brown eyed soul, a little country and Tejano. Call it what you will, it was all great! The talents of each member was so in sync. Perfect pitch, perfect rhythm, beautiful harmonies. Each of their solos were incredible and really showcased how talented they really are. Totally into their music they put it all out for the audience.
We were treated to a great setlist which included "Don't Walk Away",
"Blame It On Love",
"So Sensual",
"Oye Mamacita" and of course
"Heaven"!
