The Badlands Pawn in Sioux Falls, South Dakota was host to one of 1980's greatest bands, Canadian superstars...Loverboy! For almost 2 hours Loverboy rocked the house. No gimmicks, no fuss, just a really high energy, fun loving, kick-ass show filled with hits and great music! Loverboy are classic rockers and know how to put on a show.
Kicking off the party with "Notorious" they kept the hits coming and kept the fans happy. "Hot Girls In Love", "Turn Me Loose", and "Working For The Weekend" were badass performances and definitely crowd favorites. The multi-generational crowd kept in beat with the band and just kept singing along. Slowing it down with "This Could Be The Night" makes one swoon while my personal favorites were "It's Your Life" and "Jump". I can honestly say everyone was "Lovin' Every Minute Of It"!
After 30+ years Loverboy is still as good as back in the day. This show was excellent! Fronted by Mike Reno on vocals, Paul Dean on guitar, Doug Johnson on keyboards, Matt Frenette on drums and Ken “Spider” Sinnaeve on bass they just seem like a bunch of guys up on the stage doing what they love to do. The venue was perfect, the show was rockin', it was like the 80s alll over again.
The worst thing that can be said about Loverboy in concert is that it has to end!
