Attending a concert by The Band Perry (TBP) is to witness a performance of giant proportions! While touring with Rascal Flatts, the Band Perry takes performing to a whole new level. Their opening number "Done" is a solid high-energy song with an insinuatingly catchy chorus and choreographed moves, (hair included) to whet everyones appetite.
TBP is composed of siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2009 with "Pioneer," their second album released in April of 2013. In 2010 they won the Academy of Country Music's "Top New Artist" and "Top New Duo or Group" awards. They also cinched CMT Music Awards "Breakthrough Video of the Year" with "If I Die Young," which also won Country Music Association's "Single of the Year" Award in 2011.
So how does one describe The Band Perry fronted by Kimberly Perry; high energy, loaded with musicality, entertaining to watch, definitely a crowd pleaser. Kimberly had so much energy, running across the stage and playing to her fans. Her stamina was remarkable and she looked stunning.
The show all came together perfectly; stage presence, the sound, the setlist, the crowd interaction... everything! Favorite crowd moments - "Done", "If I Die Young" and "Better Dig Two." There was never a dull moment in the entire show so whether you're a die hard fan of the superstar trio, or getting dragged out by a friend, there's no doubt you'll have a good time!
The Band Perry are definitely the "Rising Stars" of Country music to be on the LOOK-OUT FOR!
