I'm in the mood
The rhythm is right
Move to the music
We can roll all night
oooooh slow ride, take it easy...
Foghat dominated the BBQ Festival in Pueblo, Co. They took fans on a "Slow Ride" they will not soon forget. It was classic blues - rock from beginning to end. Watching the crowd I was reminded of my youth. People dancing on the grass, singing and swaying with the breeze. Pony tails, torn jeans, a mixture of cowboy hats and bandanas. The multi-generational audience was having a blast. I think all that was missing was the smell of weed in the air.
The latest version of Foghat comprised of Roger Earl - drummer, who is the only original member and one of the founding member of Foghat. He hails from one of my favorite bands of the 60's Savoy Brown.
Craig MacGregor - bass guitar, Charlie Huhn - vocalist, guitarist and Bryan Bassett - lead guitarist, along with drummer Roger Earl have been together for 10 years (since the passing of Lonesome Dave, the other founding member of Foghat). They still epitomize that classic blues-rock sound that we all know is Foghat and if like me, you love that sound, you will definitely love Foghat. These guys are kick-ass talented and give one helluva performance.
Charlie has amazing vocals and is a great guitar player as well. He is totally hot and he makes it hard to look away. And boy oh boy... these guys can make their guitars wwwwwwwailllllllllllll.
I can guarantee that after you see them LIVE you will be telling your friends...OMG....Oh What A Show!.
